ESTABLISHMENT OF LTO NCR -EAST
The Land Transportation Office is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Transportation and is responsible for all land transportation in the Philippines. Functions of the Land Transportation Office include the inspection and registration of motor vehicles, issuance of license and permits, enforcement of land transportation rules and regulations, adjudication of traffic cases, and the collection of revenues for the government of the Philippines.
The Creation of LTO NCR – East (DEPARTMENT ORDER NO. 2018-021) Delineation of Functions in the Land Transportation Office in the National Capital Region 13 September 2018 Section 1. The LTO – NCR Regional Office shall be delineated into NCR-East and NCR-West, which shall be composed of field district offices, extension offices, licensing centers, and other similar offices. Section 2. The NCR-East shall consist of field District/Extension/Driver’s License Renewal in the following areas: (a) Quezon City; (b) Marikina; (c) San Juan; (d) Mandaluyong; (e) Pasig; (f) Pateros; and (g) Taguig.
