Filipino Driver’s Manual (2021) 2nd Edition

The purpose of this manual is to guide all driver’s license applicants in understanding the process of availing a driver’s license as well as the importance and the responsibility that goes with possessing one. It is an updated edition that contains the latest information on the documentary requirements, qualifications, step-by-step procedures, fees and charges in securing a driver’s license. It consists of two volumes wherein the first volume covers Licensing Information, Getting Ready to Drive, Driving Fundamentals, Road Courtesy and Safety, and Rights, Duties and Responsibilities of Drivers. The second volume covers Motor Vehicle Registration, Land Transportation Related Laws, and Fines and Penalties for Violations of Laws, Rules and Regulations Governing Land Transportation.

The said project was conducted last January 12-13 and 16-17, 2023. LTO NCR East aimed to lay out road safety education to students which will be the future qualified drivers. Familiarizing the students with the traffic rules and regulations will be a good foundation before acquiring a driver's license. Developing qualified drivers is an important pillar in the LTO road safety advocacy since human factor is the major cause of road crashes. UNITY RIDE 2022 - ISANG BUKLOD-LAKBAY PARA SA KALIGTASAN AT PAGKAKAISA LTO NCR East conducted it’s 3rd Unity Ride, December 4, 2022. The successful event brought different riding groups, clubs and other individuals together as the agency strengthen its campaign and advocacy to promote road safety. The said happening was also graced with the presence of Congressman Col. Bonifacio L. Bosita of 1 Rider Partylist. LTO NCR East is committed to promote and advocate Road Safety. Together, as we work hand in hand, we will achieve safer roads for everyone.
The Proclamation no. 1157, series of 2006, declares December 3 as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Philippines. LTO NCR East utilizes its Driving Education Center to highlight this declaration. The office provided a free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) to the members of ALKASAMOPI, an association of PWD drivers who also advocate for safer roads. Held at the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) Bldg., Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City. "It is not our disabilities, but it is our ABILITIES that count." “Great Things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together” - Vincent Van Gogh A project collaboration between LTO NCR East and DepEd SDO-QC. A 2 years in the making project. The LTO NCR East celebrated last July 29, 2022 the issuance of Theoretical Driving Course Certificates to the very first batch of graduates through the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the Integration of Road Safety Education to the Basic Education Curriculum. The participants were graduating senior high school students from different schools in Quezon City. A safer road for everyone. Making it happen and making it work by starting them young.
Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A declared the month of May as Road Safety Month. LTO NCR East enjoined everyone to observe and raise more awareness regarding road safety. During its month-long celebration, LTO NCR East successfully conducted different activities and projects, inculcating to the public its continuous Road Safety campaign.
