LTO Mandaluyong Extension Office has been operating for thirty six (36) years and exceptionally serving  constituents of  Mandaluyong City and nearby cities with almost all LTO frontline services . Mandaluyong City is classified as the 1^st class highly urbanized city in Metro Manila composed of twenty seven (27) barangays.

Currently, this office is handling an average of eight hundred (800) daily transactions which are efficiently processed by personnel, though limited, composed of seven (7) Regular Employees and thirteen (13) Job Order Employees.

This remarkable accomplishment, development, initiatives and progress of Mandaluyong Extension Office in terms of volume of transaction and the commendable public service delivery to the transacting clients were significantly recognized by the City Government of Mandaluyong . As such , Honarable Neptali M. Gonzales II sponsored the proposal of the conversion of Mandaluyonf Extension Office to a Regular District Office under House Bill No. 1611, currently being heard on its 4^th reading.
