Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A declares the month of May as Road Safety Month to promote road safety and raise awareness on traffic rules, reduce casualties due to road accidents.
In celebration of the Road Safety Month this May 2021, LTO NCR East handed food packs to some Jeepney and Tricycle drivers who were gravely affected by the COVID19 pandemic. They are members of different JODAs and TODAs.
In this time of pandemic, the world is devastated. Many workers lost their jobs, many drivers were not able to earn for a living as the transportation operations went to a pause. But we are strong enough. Little by little, we are able to rise again. People show kindness and compassion to each other. We must bring together to support each other. Together, We Heal As One.
