Here's to another successful project of LTO NCR East in coordination with Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Main Campus, a Free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) to students and alumni of PUP. The said project was conducted last January 12-13 and 16-17, 2023. LTO NCR East aimed to lay out road safety education to students which will be the future qualified drivers. Familiarizing the students with the traffic rules and regulations will be a good foundation before acquiring a driver's license. Developing qualified drivers is an important pillar in the LTO road safety advocacy since human factor is the major cause of road crashes. The successful event brought different riding groups, clubs and other individuals together as the agency strengthen its campaign and advocacy to promote road safety. The said happening was also graced with the presence of Congressman Col. Bonifacio L. Bosita of 1 Rider Partylist. LTO NCR East is committed to promote and advocate Road Safety. Together, as we work hand in hand, we will achieve safer roads for everyone.
The Proclamation no. 1157, series of 2006, declares December 3 as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Philippines. LTO NCR East utilizes its Driving Education Center to highlight this declaration. The office provided a free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) to the members of ALKASAMOPI, an association of PWD drivers who also advocate for safer roads. Held at the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) Bldg., Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City. "It is not our disabilities, but it is our ABILITIES that count."
